About ARAIN
ARAIN — the Australian Regional AI Network — is an independent AI partner for regional Australia. We help businesses, industry bodies, and government agencies explore AI safely and practically, with a focus on real outcomes and regional context.
Our activities are funded through the AI Adopt Program, an Australian Government Department of Industry, Science and Resources initiative aimed at enhancing the adoption of artificial intelligence by small to medium enterprises in regional Australia. This funding means we can operate independently — our obligation is to help regional organisations succeed with AI, not to sell products or represent vendors.
We exist because regional organisations deserve the same quality of AI support that metropolitan corporates get — adapted for the realities of distance, varied connectivity, smaller teams, and the industries that actually drive regional economies.
